Match RECAP: Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home Shayne and Elijah kept our midfield strong, very rarely letting the other team get to our defense; aswell as keeping our offense pushing up the entire game. Devanand played a strong offensive game ( with some late game mid-fielding) with a couple of shots on goal and some good passing. Gianna had a solid game up front with a near goal in the 4th quarter. She also held her own quite well on defense. Francesco came on strong in the second half with a number of near shots late in the game. Lucas played defense well for a good portion of the game (with a very long turn around in the 4th quarter)while he also made some good pushes on offense when he had the chance. Christopher started out very strong at offense in the first half with some chances in the box, then he switched ends of our field and tended goal for the second half. Brandon played a solid goal for the first half, then came out and very quckly took charge of the offense in the 3rd quarter before switching to defense for the rest of the game. There were goals by Shayne, Brandon and Elijah. Shayne also assisted Brandon on a goal. WOW! What a great first game!
