Match RECAP:  Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home
Since we only had seven players, everybody did a lot of running today! Even though the end result was dissappointing for us, nobody gave up. And that is great! Devanand scored our only goal in the first quarter (finally took that big kick shot!). Brandon and Elijah showed great effort in the middle by playing both offense and defense for most of the game (talk about hustling!). Christopher showed great poise in goal, for the first half, considering all the shots taken at him (by both teams); and great defense for the second half. Lucas played a good position defense for most of the game, coming out strong at the end of the fourth quarter with a couple of great clearing kicks. Domenic held his own on offense for most of the game getting a couple of good passes to his teammates; showing some moxie late in the game by staying in the fray kicking at the ball. Tyler had a lot of early pushes up field, and some great defending in the first half; then he gave christopher a break and played a solid goal tending position for the second half. All in all, it was still a close game (final score aside considering they actually only scored two of their own goals). They may have been a little faster, but we were definitely more aggressive and persistant!
