Match RECAP: Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home WOW! What a game! We passed; we crossed; we scored! Andrew, back for his first game, played the whole game in goal and made it look easy. He was helped by a strong defensive effort by Christopher who hardly let anyone get by him. Gianna played a great offensive line with a shot at the goal and some good pushes up the middle. Devanand was our solid offensive threat, staying in the middle and adding an assist to his record. Lucas started his game on defense, then played an improved offense, also having a couple of kicks toward the goal. Francesco came to play today, attacking the ball with purpose on offense, and also having a couple of solid passes to his teammates on the front line. Brandon was a dynamo all over the field; shooting, defending and pushing the ball up to the offense. Shayne, adding a goal to his record, was a force to be reckoned with all over the field, having at least five shots on goal(two with his Left foot!), and twice as many crosses from the edge. Tyler showed an especially good attack skill, taking the ball from the opponent in and out of the box, and he also had a couple of shots on goal. Elijah had his best offensive game of the year, adding a hat-trick (3 goals) to his record, and working excellently with the offense with passing and shooting (with both feet).
