Ewing United Soccer Association Overview
Ewing United Soccer Association is dedicated to the physical, mental and emotional development of our youth, through an organized soccer program.

We at Ewing United are committed to providing the best possible experience for our young players, not only in the area of soccer, but also in the area of everyday life. We believe in the "whole child" method of training. We encourage teamwork, fair play, and sportsmanship, and we teach by example and by positive reinforcement. Our players will hopefully come away from the years in West End with happy memories, good soccer skills, and the tools needed for success and personal fulfillment in life.
Our coaches, managers and administrators are all volunteers, working hard to run a soccer program for over 500 players in a safe and fun learning environment. Many of our coaches are Ewing United alumni themselves, giving back to the program that gave to them years ago. The Executive Board is made up of volunteers who are dedicated to the smooth and successful running of the club, giving many hours of their time all year long to ensure a good experience for our children.
Ewing United boasts over 500 players in our recreational league and numerous teams in our competitive travel division.
Our recreational program is for players from ages four through eighteen, and our competitive division has teams from U9-U19. Bert Steinmann designed and implemented our Instructional Division eighteen years ago and it is still going strong with the addition of a Kindergarten division. The players, ages 4 thru six, are taught by our older Ewing United players and directed by Jeremy Steinmann and Adam Ritter. The Instructional Division teaches our little soccer players the rudiments of the game and basic soccer skills.
Many of our adolescent players have obtained their referee licenses with the help of Ewing United. Dave Barth, our referee coordinator, gives our cub referees valuable experience by setting up scrimmages with our younger travel teams and letting the young refs officiate. The young referees officiate at our Division 5 and 6 games.
Our recreational games are played at the Marrazzo’s soccer complex and LiMato soccer fields on Scotch Road. The season starts the weekend after Labor Day and finishes in late October or mid-November. We celebrate the players’ accomplishments every year at the end of the season with a pizza banquet for all divisions.
