The West End Eagles formed in the Fall of 2008 as a U10 team playing in the Mid New Jersey Youth Soccer League. The team went on to compile a 9-1 record in its' initial Fall season and an 8-0-2 record in the following Spring. Since that time, the Eagles have combined for an overall record of 29-8-7 in league play and have climbed in their flight seeding to their current placement of Flight 5.
In the winter of 2010, the Eagles participated in the Bob Smith Soccer 7 v 7 indoor league compiling a 7-2 record and winning the U11 Boys League Championship.
The Spring 2010 season culminated with the Eagles winning their flight in MNJYSA with a 7-0-3 record and a successful playoff run knocking off the number 4 and number 1 seeds to make it to the Championship game where they fell, in an overtime thriller, by a score of 2-3. The Eagles were the first Flight 5 team to make it to the Championship Round.
The Eagles are led by Ewing residents Lynn Ficci (Team Manager) and coached by Gregg Downs and Tito Santiago. The 2009/2010 roster consisted of the following players (front left to right): Joe Scozzaro, Theo Sulton, Brandon Gray, Nick Wood, Trey Zaggi, Ken Fallas, Jake Downs, Patrick Nally, Dylan Markulec; (back left to right) Kyle Ficci, Nestor Santiago, Patrick Smith, Dawson Decoff, Maguire Winsor and Gregory Riello (missing - Russell Stackhouse).
