Team formed: 2009

The West End Strikers started its first season in the fall of 2009 with a record of 5-4-1.  With 26 goals for and 21 goals against, the team had a strong start to it career.  The players really came together as a team and showed much improvement throughout the season.  In the second half of the fall, the team scored 16 goals, compared to 10 goals in the first half.  Congratulations on a great inaugural season!

SPRING 2010   2 Wins, 1 Loss

4/11/2010 Win over Robbinsville - Excellent job!  The kids gave 100% all game and worked well as a team! 

3/21/2010  Loss to Newark - After a well fought game, the Strikers lost to Newark.  Newark had a very good passing and shooting game, however, the Strikers fought hard for the entire game.  Though Newark had scored several times, the Strikers never gave up and gave their all on the field.  Excellent work, Strikers. 

3/20/2010  Win over North Hunterdon - "The kids really did a great job passing the ball after a long winter break.   I was really impressed with their teamwork." - Coach Simpson
